How to Distinguish Remi Hair Wig from other Synthetic Wigs Types - Part 1

Remi Hair Wig is the highest-quality artificial hair. What sets it apart from other synthetic weaves, wigs, and extensions is that the outermost layer of natural hair - known as the cuticle - is not removed as in other types of weaves. This gives it that close-to-natural appearance that other synthetic products can barely achieve.

There is fairly little processing involved, so the hair is virtually as natural as it gets. Many people, when selecting weaves and extensions, want to purchase this kind of material but cannot tell which products on sale is the authentic virgin Remi hair wigs. There are actually several ways to tell the genuine from the counterfeit, and the natural from the synthetic.

First of all, Remi hair wig is considerably expensive, and can cost up to a hundred dollars max. If the weave is fairly cheap or rather affordable, then that's one clue that it's not the real deal. Also, the strands are supposed to be lighter at the tips than at the root portions. This is because of the fact that during its manufacture, the cuticles are made to align with one another so that they all face the same direction. Colored genuine virgin isn't the same with other Synthetic Wigs, simply because the colors come naturally. They are actually the natural hair color of the hair donor.

Consequently, the color will not be uniform throughout the entire hair bundle, as it is with Natural Synthetic Wigs. There will be varying natural highlights of different shades of the overall color, and it is expected that one can spot strands of graying hair every once in a while.
