A lighter color , scanning is ideal for those who want to breathe new life into a haircut without totally change hair color. A successful scan brings light and creates volume trompe l'oeil in our hair. But what colors to choose for a shimmering brown, light blond or red incendiary ? Our expert Valerie Ganci , dressing and technical trainer at Franck Provost , reveals the secrets of scanning we need!

The key to illuminate a clear basis is to bring brightness and depth to the hair , while retaining a soft and subtle color for a very natural result. To create reflections of different shades , one bleaching product but different time applications (plus the product is left longer, the locks will be clear ) is used.

The red looks like a major trend in 2013 for coloring. To highlight this base color, the focus is on amber tones that are applied gradient : from the darkest to lightest on the roots to the tips . The goal : to keep a natural look , but turn the hair into flame at the slightest ray of sunshine.
The result is a naturally vibrant color and reflections while transparency. My hair is shiny and appear thicker due to the gradient of shades that give a sense of depth to my hair.
